Fabio Banducci

Chairman

Fabio’s professional career has now spanned three decades during which he has gained invaluable board and executive leadership experience in building both private and publicly listed companies, with strong strategic, corporate governance and capital markets expertise. He is also active in his community where he serves on the board of two local foundations and a hospital pension committee.  Fabio graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree from the University of British Columbia and from McGill University with an MBA degree. He is married with three adult children and enjoys time in the great outdoors and whenever possible, on a tractor in a vineyard.

Gary Sherlock

Board Member & Co-CEO

Gary joined commercebuild in April 2019. He has over 25 years of experience in executive leadership in both corporate and operational roles. From 2006 to 2014, Gary served as CEO and co-CEO of Peer 1 Hosting, a TSX-listed Vancouver-based internet infrastructure provider. With his business partner Fabio Banducci, Gary repositioned the company strategically upmarket, restructured the organization, expanded its operations both domestically and globally and grew the organization to 570 employees while delivering best in class operating metrics. During his tenure, annualized revenues grew to $200 million and in January 2013, Peer 1 was acquired by Cogeco Cable for $650 million.

Craig Thomson

Board Member

Over the past 20 years, Craig has founded, led and/or advised in the successful exits of 7 technology companies. He has worked with underwriters, private equity firms, investment bankers and venture capital organizations on both the buy and sell side of transactions. Craig has served as CEO, President, a member of the executive team as well as on boards of directors with both privately and publicly held organizations ranging in size from 10 to more than 1,000 employees.

Chris de Visser

Board Member

Chris de Visser joined the commercebuild board in the beginning of 2024 but has been an advisor to the company for over a year prior. He is currently the CEO North America for Continia (software to automate finance processes in Business Central) but has more than a decade of experience in the B2B eCommerce space. Having successfully started and grown several companies in North America (and in particular in the Microsoft space) his expertise helps commercebuild become a leader in the Microsoft ERP space faster.
He also serves as a Supervisory Board Member for Rodeo (project management software), advisor to RadarRadar (commodity software) and several other international scaleups.
Chris is originally from the Netherlands but has been living in New York City for the past 10 years.
